Dr. Bob Bodenhamer
Dr. Bodenhamer grew up in central Missouri and received a Curators Scholarship to attent the University of Missouri. His interest in biology then led him to Texas and graduate school at the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a Ph.D. in Zoology. Following a brief stint in teaching and research he realized that veterinary medicine was where he wanted to be so he returned to school at Texas A&M. He was awarded his veterinary degree in 1986 and moved to Garland to join Heritage Square Animal Clinic, first as an associate, then a partner. After nearly 30 years with HSAC, he is excited to be working in a "new" clinic following the merger with Kindness Small Animal Hospital.
Dr. Bodenhamer and wife Bebe are the proud parents of two human doctor daughters, and share their home with 2 dogs and a geriatric, diabetic cat. Outside of the hospital, Dr. B's interests include most things outdoor and sport, especially fly fishing and bicycling.
